We work with a truly lovely psychotherapist called Kathleen Saxton and would like to share some information with you in case you would like to find out any more about the service that Kathleen provides.

Kathleen Saxton

A little about me:
After a 20 year career on the leadership boards of marketing, media and technology companies, I launched Psyched Global with the well-known psychotherapist and coach Ben McKie – a company interested in the development of people, both psychologically, spiritually, intellectually and physically and my desire to truly be able to work with people at a deeper “whole self” psychological and emotional level meant I returned to study Psychotherapy at Regents University gaining my Foundation in Counselling and Psychotherapy before going on to train further at CCPE in London and I started practicing in January 2015.

I now run a busy weekly private practice in Central London, working with clients around life’s challenges, depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, sexual abuse, physical abuse, complex trauma, hoarding, eating disorders and general life crisis. I am a member of both the BACP and the UKCP and am fully DBS certified and cleared to work with Adults and Children. I am also a Board member of NSPCC’s ChildLine.

A little about therapy:
They say unconditional hope, like unconditional love, is the only kind worth having. Yet as we travel through our journey in life, we can sometimes wonder if our ability to survive on that hope alone is always enough. Sometimes we are faced with a crisis in life or we may notice old patterns, feelings, difficulties arising or a sense of something unexplored or unexplained, or of seeking a greater purpose or greater compassion for yourself. Sometimes having a guide to walk with us for a little while may help illuminate the road we’ve travelled and indeed our path ahead.

My aim as you consider embarking in therapy is simply to provide a place of great safety and absolute confidentiality; where you can explore your inner most thoughts, feelings and actions, with me as an un-judgemental guide, meeting you wherever you are emotionally right now and walking with you as you discover what really mattered in your past, what’s happening in the present and how you might like to shape the future.

It’s a commitment to work together. It can be enlightening, challenging, inspiring, thought provoking and at times emotional and yet also equally incredibly healing, so in listening with wholehearted acceptance, kindness and an interest in you and only you, my duty of care is to support and encourage you as you make that journey.

I am qualified to degree level and studied at UCA Maidstone and Rochester. From 2007 I worked for a world wide Dentistry company called Henry Schein Ltd. Since December 2010 I have been a freelance Graphic Designer/Illustrator. I love what I do and I have the privilege of working in a job which is also my greatest passion.
